Sheer Kurma
Sheer Khurma is a very delicious dessert, which is commonly made
in India and other Asian countries, specially this dessert prepared In Ramadan
and Eid-ul-Ada. This served both hot and chilled.
This dessert prepared by
using lots of dry fruits and milk. And it is very tasty and healthy too.
Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Total Time: 20 minutes
Sheer khurma ingredients in Hindi/English
- 1 litre Milk (दूध)
- 100g Ghee (घी)
- 10g Almond (बादाम)
- 10g Cashew nuts (काजू)
- 8 Cardamom (इलायची)
- 2 Dates (खजूर) (optional)
- Raisin (manook) (किशमिश)
- 10g Pistachio (पिस्ता)
- Half Nutmeg (जायफल)
- 100g Vermicelli (सेवई)
- 10g Walnut (अखरोट)
- 10g Charoli/chironji (चिरोंजी)
- 10g Watermelon seeds तरबूज के बीज
- 2 small peaces Dry coconut chopped (सूखा नारियल कटा हुआ)
- Half spoon Saffron (केसर) optional
- Take all dry fruits and chop them into small
peaces
- Make powder of cardamom.
- Break vermicelli(sheviyan) as per your required length
- Fry all your all dry fruits in ghee for 3 minutes in a low medium flame.
- In the same pan fry vermicelli (seviyan) for 1 minute, when it turned in golden brown, remove and keep it aside.
- In other side boil milk.. in low medium flame.
- Once you feel done, add all fried dry fruits in milk.
- Add suger, boil for 2 minuts. and turn your gas in low flame and boil it for 5 minutes
- Remove your pot from gas. at last add cardamom powder.
And Enjoy your favorite sheer khurma
You can have it cool or warm, personality i love chilled.
