What does Quran and hadith says about dates? Dates There are many fruits mentioned in Quran, Dates and Date-palm mentioned in Quran for 22 times, which is more than any others fruit trees.      Prophet Mohammad (be peace upon him)  says, " Indeed in Dates there is a cure ". And also mentioned " One who will take Ajwa dates in the morning, will not be effected by the poison and magic" . And also said, " Break your fast by dates as it is purifying ".       In Islam also mentioned date fruits for a pregnant women. For a pregnant women the best food is date-fruit, specially when she is giving birth. Why Muslim prefer dates on Ramdan?      In the month of Ramdan dates are common fruits or ingredient, which we people have at iftar and also in sehri.      Having  dates In iftar is very good for a body because having dates after long gap of fasting will increase the glucose level in the body which glucose level in body will return to the normal. Children can watch cartoons in Ramadan or not?     Ramdan is a holy month, where we keep our self from all kind of gratifications. And in islam pictures are not allowed to draw or watch and also some kind, it is considered as a Haram. And it would be prefered that keep your childrens away from it in Ramdan.      It would be better if you tell your children with love, not to bully them or to force them to avoid watching cartoons. Beacause compulsion is specifically forbidden in Islam.
